Trippy Lips is a beauty and wellness brand selling hemp-infused face and body products. They jumped on the hemp product trend, building a brand that is visually exciting and anchored by their beloved hemp-focused items.
With their bright colors and nod to 60s- and 70s-style psychedelic design, Trippy Lips leaned into the vibe of classic cannabis culture and we carried this through from logo design to their product packaging and event items.
Our logo design was the highlight of this project. We worked through many variations, utilizing rounded, “trippy,” and retro-inspired hand-drawn typography. The final logos included elements of hemp leaves, lips, and their name rendered in type that takes you straight back to the era of blacklight posters and lava lamps (aka totally rad vibes, man), while the lips feature their main color of hot, vibrant pink. Once their logo was done, we created event items such as ambassador badges, tents, vehicle wraps, and billboards, all featuring their eye-catching visual elements.
